Blueberry Stuffed Pull-Apart Bread with Lemon Cream Cheese Glaze

Ingredients
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup warm water (about 105 – 110 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • 3 to 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup sugar, divided
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • ¾ cup warm buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup blueberry preserves
For the coating:
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp finely shredded lemon peel
For the glaze:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
